About the Speaker

Tom Luebbering joined Hovey Williams in 1992, became a registered patent agent in 1993, a patent attorney in 1994, and was admitted to partnership in 1998. Tom has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering and focuses his practice on patent prosecution, licensing, and IP counseling, with a particular emphasis on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the aviation, software, navigation, optics, and electronic fields.

Tom graduated from UMKC Law School (magna cum laude with honors) in 1994.  Tom is admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, and before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
