At the Boston Chinese Investment Club (BCIC) 2023 Biomedical Pitch Competition in April, Likarda was amongst a dozen chosen companies to advance to the top round of pitches. Designed to bring together bio-tech innovators and potential investors and resources and fast-track the networking process, this event started with 86 initial pitches in March and April. Likarda’s strong pitch for their Core Shell Spherification microencapsulation delivery system was awarded the show’s Innovation Award. Likarda’s Core Shell Spherification (CSS) is able to utilize the body’s inert materials, so the body is less likely to react with an inflammatory response.
