Supporting the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
Congratulations to eighth graders Abigail Poindexter and Libya Elshekhi and seventh grader Penny Whittier of Billy Mills Middle School on earning the Innovate Globally Prize at last week’s Douglas County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge at Peaslee Tech.
KU Innovation Park proudly sponsored the $250 award, recognizing their business idea, Pure Plate — a restaurant concept grounded in sustainability and cultural connection.
Big ideas start early. We’re proud to support the next generation of innovators building solutions with purpose.
