The application window for the 2025 accelerator is now closed.

Applications are open for KU Innovation Park’s Lab2Market accelerator, a six-month program designed to transform groundbreaking research into market-ready ventures.

Why it matters

Lab2Market is a launchpad to move ideas out of the lab and into the world. It connects entrepreneurs with resources, expertise and networks to help bring products and solutions to life.

What you get

Participants receive:

  • Workspace and community: Dedicated office space at KU Innovation Park and access to a vibrant ecosystem of innovators and entrepreneurs.
  • Expert training: Monthly in-person workshops on essential topics like securing SBIR/STTR funding, team-building strategies, and legal considerations.
  • Specialized tools: Access to SOLIDWORKS and other cutting-edge tools to refine your product.
  • Connections: Build relationships with industry experts, mentors and investors.

This program doesn’t just guide you through the process—it gives you the tools and connections to thrive.

 Key dates
  • Applications close: Friday, December 13.
  • Final decisions: Accepted participants will be notified by Friday, December 20.
  • Visit the Park: Office space at the Park for companies will be made available starting Monday, January 6, 2025.
  • Virtual kickoff: Companies must attend a virtual kickoff meeting on Thursday, January 9.
  • SBIR/STTR Boot Camp: January 23-24 (mandatory)
