Last day: Register for SportsTech Lunch & Learn
Join us for a dynamic conversation at the intersection of sports and technology on Thursday, October 23, at 12 p.m. This special Lunch & Learn features Davyeon Ross, co-founder and CEO of ShotTracker, a real-time performance analytics platform transforming basketball at every level. He’ll sit down for a fireside chat with Matt Gardner, current vice president of growth at YinzCam and former vice president of innovation and digital strategy for the St. Louis Blues.
ACCEL-KS by the numbers
The Park had an exciting response to the launch of its ACCEL-KS program, supported by Kansas Commerce. Through the first review date of September 30, ACCEL-KS at the Park can report:
- 53 applications
- 85% of those applications are from populous counties, with 15% coming from rural counties
- Over $1.2 million in funding requests
- Most applications fell within these sectors: AI, digital health, AgTech, MedTech, BioTech, EdTech, CleanTech & SportsTech
Applications are still open! Five of the Park’s projects need to be based in rural counties (that’s 95 of the 105 in Kansas), so if you’re in a rural county, we’d especially love to see you apply. But if you have the next big idea, no matter where you’re located, get your application in!
Dillons at The Crossing opens
The Park is happy to welcome its newest neighbors, Dillons, to West Campus! The store opened last Friday at is located at one of the entrances to The Crossing, a multi-use development by the KU Endowment Association. Hours will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Check out the grand opening with tons of photos by the Lawrence Times here.
