Tomorrow: Cybersecurity Intelligence Conference begins
The Cybersecurity Intelligence Conference returns to Lawrence on March 31 and April 1, convening leaders across academia, federal agencies and industry to tackle today’s most pressing cybersecurity challenges.

The Park’s role:
- Phase IV will be home to the Kansas National Security Innovation Center

KU Research growth boosts Kansas communities, fuels economy
KU’s research and development spending during fiscal year 2025 climbed to $610.6 million—fueling innovation across Kansas, with KU Innovation Park helping move that work from lab to market.
The big picture:
- $610.6 million in KU research activity driving discovery and investment
- That beats last year’s record-level spending by 12 percent
- The Park converts that momentum into companies, jobs and economic growth
The Park’s role:
- Connects researchers with commercialization pathways and business support
- Supports startups from concept to scale

Welcome, Spring Analysts!
The Park is excited to have three analysts working on projects for our companies this spring semester.
Aidan Dove is pursuing both an MBA and a Master’s in Business Analytics. He earned two undergraduate degrees from Creighton University.
Riya Kesavan is a junior double-majoring in finance and economics with a minor in intelligence and national security studies.
Sterling Smith is a sophomore studying electrical engineering. Sterling also worked as an analyst for the Park during the fall semester.

Chris Rehkamp named VP
- Chris Rehkamp has been promoted to Vice President of Business Services. Chris joined the Park in April 2024 after various roles supporting entrepreneurs and startups.
Gamechangers & Champions
