Lunch & Learn: Inside KU Core Labs
Advanced research often requires specialized expertise, equipment and capabilities that can be difficult for an individual company or research team to build on its own. Some of those resources may be closer than you think.
Join KU Innovation Park on Tuesday, October 6, for a look inside four KU Core Labs and learn how their expertise and technology can help researchers and companies move projects forward.
Featured KU Core Labs:
- Flow Cytometry Core: Flow cytometry, cell analysis and cell sorting
- Synthetic Chemical Biology Core: Synthetic chemistry, molecular probes and compound analysis
- Infectious Disease Assay Development Core: Assay development, validation and screening for infectious disease research
- Computational Chemical Biology Core: Computational modeling, virtual screening and molecular design
→ Register here for free before Friday’s deadline.
MidxMidwest applications open
Attendee applications are now open for MidxMidwest 2026, taking place on November 12 at Hotel Kansas City. This is one of the region’s largest venture-focused gatherings, designed to bring together high-growth founders, leading investors, and corporate innovators who rarely get a chance to connect in person.
Ideal applicants are:
- Leading a high-growth technology company, or actively investing in one
- Planning to raise a Pre-Seed to Series B round in the next 12 months
- Located anywhere in the U.S. (not limited to KC)
→ Applications are open through October 7, but early submissions are encouraged as space is limited. Apply at midxmidwest.com.
